Glass rovings

Roving is untwisted strand consisting of several complex yarns or one complex yarn (direct roving) and is characterized by tex and filament diameter.  Our  company offers  direct rovings with linear density from 200 to 2400 tex and filament diameter from 11 to 23 mkm, texturized rovings with linear density from 300 to 4000 tex and filament diameter from 9 to 14 mkm, assembled rovings with linear density from 1600 to 4800 tex and filament diameter from 13 to 23 mkm.

Rovings are used for production of roving glass fabrics, glass meshes, glass reinforced plastic articles by winding method (production of cylindrical surfaces) and pulling, pultrusion (production of different profiles), as a filler of polyamides and press materials, production of thermal insulation felts as piercing material. Different types of sizing allow to provide interaction with resins of different types in production of glass reinforced plastic articles.
